Welcome to my personal blog.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Nurul and I am a Malay Muslim citizen of Singapore. If you didn't know, Singapore is a small island country at the southern tip of the Malay peninsula sandwiched between countries like Malaysia and Indonesia.
I am a halal foodie and I love to travel both within Singapore and abroad. I am also an introvert and INFJ, and love to keep learning and trying new things.
In 2021, I have been given the opportunity to help plan for my brother's engagement and wedding ceremony. While helping, I found out that there are many Malay cultural elements that can be confusing. So I am also using this blog to record them and hopefully help others of what I found out.
I am also a new hijabi and a cat owner so I will update this blog on some tips on both to help others.
Oh... the cat's name in the picture is Yuri. Yuri & her sister, Yoko, are both adopted and are local siamese mix cats. As of 2021, they are 3 years old.
